Maybe you already know me (hi mom), or maybe you don’t!
I’m Aaron J. Trumm (the J is for Jason and I use it so I remember which Facebook profile is which). I make music (you probably knew that). I rap, I sing, I play the piano, I produce, and what comes out isn’t hip-hop and it’s not pop and it’s not rock and it’s not ska – and yet it is!
I’ve never done a great job of fitting the mold – and I’ve been doing this for a LOT of years (28 yikes) so I probably won’t change. 🙂 But maybe you didn’t come here for same ol same ol – I hope not!

Another thing my friends know about me: I love making music but I don’t like to do it just for myself. So I’m really grateful you’re here and for your interaction and I have a thing for you!
A free copy of my “Don’t Stop” CD.
Well, free plus shipping. I’m not rich so I need help with that part 🙂 That’s less than $5 if you live in the U.S. though.
You may have seen my Don’t Stop video online (there’s two of me and a zebra), or you saw other other videos. Maybe you even heard Don’t Stop on TV (Teen Mom of all places). Or not.
Don’t Stop is my 5th solo album and it’s the most upbeat, emotionally good, and fun album I’ve ever put together and I think if you’re here you’ll probably like it!
Still reading? That’s cool! If I were you I might want to learn more about this internet rando before I ordered anything. Since I’m the rando, I’ll tell you more about me and what you’re getting when you take me up on the free CD thing.
I’ve been performing songs and poems since 1996. (I’m old!) Here’s me in 2018 in Taos, NM (where I was born and lived til age 14). My biggest bragging point: I was the 10th ranked slam poet in the world in 2002!
I’ve performed in almost every state and one foreign country (Denmark). Mostly poetry, some music. Some good times, some bad.

“Yeah Aaron, but are you a person? Or just perform and brag?” – Good point…

I’m also an athlete. I play ice hockey and have studied martial arts for years. Here’s me getting a pep talk during a Stanford hockey game in 2005. I also played for the University of New Mexico before that. Pictures weren’t invented then, though.
I wasn’t very good in college. But I still play recreationally and I love it way more now. In fact, health is my number one priority. Partly because I had a double lung transplant in 2013!
Fun fact: I’m also a certified personal trainer (American Council on Exercise)!
PS: that’s Andy over my left shoulder. He was one of our best players and an insane drummer!
Now I live in Albuquerque, NM with my long-time girlfriend (who I met at Kung Fu!), two cats (Toby and Marley), and a lot of plants. I don’t have a recording studio at home. That’s at my mother’s house about 10 minutes away. Because they want me around, and I hate being alone (Sandra’s at work all day).
These cats only do this in the winter. That’s the chair I’m in while I write this. I’m always hairy.
“Ok, what about this CD thing? What’s the catch? What do I get?”

Right. The “Don’t Stop” CD! I made 100 of these. I won’t make more like this. If I make more, they’ll be different. So they’re rare. I think that’s cool, myself.
I made them along with a whole digital experience with extras like video and lyrics and stories and whatnot. You’ll get access to that too, so you can get a deeper look – and free downloads, (so you can listen on a plane!).
And you’ll get a real thing to have and hold and do stuff with. And I’ll sign and number it, so you can sell it on eBay if I get famous (you’ll know when LOL).
All that’s free. My gift to you!
There is one catch – shipping. (I wish it weren’t so!)
I can get you all the digital stuff for free – but I found out that’s not as cool as something physical and people kept asking for something real. Cool! But shipping costs money, and I’m no billionaire!
So I need your help with that part. I’ll eat the cost of the CD, you pay the shipping – sound good?
Shipping is under $5 for anywhere in the U.S. Outside the U.S. it can be quite a bit more, I must warn you. But that’s the case no matter what you’re buying. I’ve set up some flat international shipping fees that don’t totally cover it, as a way to help you while you’re helping me.
Also, I feel so bad about the crazy international shipping that I also added a 25% store discount code in for anyone (even U.S. people) that orders. You’ll get that in an auto-email. That’s good one time, never expires, for anything in my store! 🙂

“Ok but why? Why give away a whole thing?”
I’m doing this because I want people to hear and enjoy what I do! That’s pretty hard these days. You probably saw me on Facebook or Instagram but you might have only gotten one 30 second clip.
Plus, I want to get to know you better! What better way than to establish real contact, one-on-one. Check out my friend Robbie jamming to this CD in his car – he sings along! This is my whole dream, right there. People jamming to the stuff I made, knowing the lyrics, having a relationship with my music that I have nothing to do with! It’s his song now!
You know how that is. “This is my jam!”, “This is our song” – I wanna do that for people – I wanna do that for you. That’s why we musicians do this. So, why not give you a CD? It’s the most direct way I can think of to get you jamming out!
“What if I hate it? I’m risk-averse, man”

That’s fair! Let’s take away the risk. If you decide this crap is not for you and dammit this wasn’t worth it at all, just tell me within 30 days and I’ll refund your shipping cost no questions asked!
Nothing to lose, some jamz to gain!
Let’s get you some tunes today!
Thanks for reading all this! I’m glad you’re here, and I’d love to make a fan and friend of you! Hope I can send you a CD soon!
